New large-scale battles head up Lineage 2: Revolution’s end of year update

Few mobile MMOs can claim late night talk show host endorsement, but if what’s good enough for Conan O’ Brian is good enough for you, a new update means now is the best time to try Lineage 2: Revolution. A fully 3D fantasy RPG, the game has recently added new sieges and servers to keep adventurers going head to head.

You asked, and Netmarble heard. Lineage 2: Revolution’s jam-packed end of year update sees the release of highly anticipated Fortress Sieges, a 50v50 online mode that lets 2 plans duke it out. There’s plenty of Adena, EXP, and Proof of Blood to be gained for all those who enter when the timed event goes live every Friday from 20:30 – 21:00 PST, but only the victorious will unearth bonus rewards like buffs.

If the thought of large-scale Fortress Sieges seems a little too intense for the time being, dialled back 30v30 battles now await in the newly added Open Siege mode. The principal of Open Sieges are, for the most part, the same, with the exception being that you can enter alone (if you dare) and that all players will be of equal combat power level. Build up your skill and work your way up.

As if that wasn’t enough, Lineage 2: Revolution is also adding three new servers as part of the major update, easing online traffic so that all can have a great time. 54 countries all want to get in on the action, and now they’ll be able to do so seamlessly and ch…

Pokemon Duel guide – Part Two – The battles

In this second part of our guide to Pokemon Duel, we’re going to take a closer look at how the battles work, and give you some tips about how you can up your chances of winning them.

They’re an important part of the game, but at the same time, they’re not. They’re going to happen, and you need to know what to do, but trying to avoid them is often a much smarter course of action.

In this article we’ll look at the different moves you can perform, as well as the cards you can play to try and give yourself an edge in battles.

The fights

When you’re fighting, you and your opponent both spin a wheel. You tap to stop it, and whichever section of the wheel it stops in is your attack.

Stronger Pokemon have better attack options. White attacks are the weakest, and will be defeated by blue attacks. Blue attacks in turn will be defeated by purple and gold attacks.

Attacks don’t always knock Pokemon into the healing pods if they’re successful. Sometimes they can stun a creature, or mess around with the wheel that they have to use the next time you fight.

It’s smart to figure out which of your Pokemon are going to have the best chance of winning in fights, and then use these as your enforcers. Sometimes your weaker monsters will get in scraps, and they migh…

Participate in 100 player PvP battles in Sword of Chaos

Sword of Chaos is a brand new mobile MMORPG that features possibly the most intense action combat system ever seen on mobile.

You create a character from a select few classes and then battle centaurs, werewolves, and goatmen as you journey through twenty levels of difficult dungeons.

As you do so, you’ll level up and unlock new skills and fashion outfits for your character. Then, when you’re feeling sufficiently powerful, you can move on to the most challenging content like team dungeons and PvP.

PvP is unlike any other mobile game here. The basic mode features 20 versus 20 battles but there’s scope for even more epic warfare in the 100 player battles, which is a first for mobile.

You can battle alongside your friends as well. Simply create a guild, invite them to join, and you can fight together, coordinating your attacks with precision thanks to the live messenger.

That live messenger also comes in handy during World Boss fights. These require teamwork from your entire server – which is a great way to find new friends and guild members.

Excel at all modes and you’ll become a top player. At this point a giant statue of your character will be placed in the Central Square for all to see and admire.
