You are no hero … no prancing knight or scholarly wizard but a champion of the dark gods. As their chosen, you have command of legions of barbarians, beastmen and demons. Wield unholy strength, necromancy and hellfire to bring ruin to the civilized realms. Honor your gods on the bloody fields of battle in a quest for power and ascension.

Demon’s Rise 2 is a turn-based, tactical RPG set in a brutal and unforgiving fantasy world. Taking place amidst a horrific war in the cold north, the campaign will see your party fight innumerable enemies, huge monsters and powerful sorcerers. Victory will require the tactical use of terrain, morale, formations and magic. Build an increasingly powerful war band, command demonic allies, and crush those that stand against you.

•Tactical Choices: Use terrain effects, cover and line of sight to gain an edge over your enemies. Employ spells to hinder powerful enemies, area effect damage to clear the field of lesser foes and buffs to strengthen your allies.

•Build Your Party: Choose from 15 diverse character classes to build your war band. Your warriors will improve with every victory, becoming stronger and unlocking new powers and skills. Acts of courage and savagery on the battlefield will bring favor from your gods, which can mean the difference between glory and defeat.

•Collect Gear: Equip your warriors with powerful weapons, arcane objects, runic armor and legendary artifacts. There are thousands of items to find and collect, each with their own stat effects and background lore.

•Campaign: Fight through a lengthy campaign and numerous side quests that span more than 80 hours of play time. No level caps and the ability to replay levels at a harder difficulty add to the longevity.

•Engaging Lore: Immerse yourself in the history of Tarren, the world of Demon’s Rise. A land of broken empires and shattered kingdoms where armies of humans, demons and other races fight for bitter survival.

Participate in 100 player PvP battles in Sword of Chaos

Sword of Chaos is a brand new mobile MMORPG that features possibly the most intense action combat system ever seen on mobile.

You create a character from a select few classes and then battle centaurs, werewolves, and goatmen as you journey through twenty levels of difficult dungeons.

As you do so, you’ll level up and unlock new skills and fashion outfits for your character. Then, when you’re feeling sufficiently powerful, you can move on to the most challenging content like team dungeons and PvP.

PvP is unlike any other mobile game here. The basic mode features 20 versus 20 battles but there’s scope for even more epic warfare in the 100 player battles, which is a first for mobile.

You can battle alongside your friends as well. Simply create a guild, invite them to join, and you can fight together, coordinating your attacks with precision thanks to the live messenger.

That live messenger also comes in handy during World Boss fights. These require teamwork from your entire server – which is a great way to find new friends and guild members.

Excel at all modes and you’ll become a top player. At this point a giant statue of your character will be placed in the Central Square for all to see and admire.

Kritika: Chaos Unleashed Review (4/5)

It doesn’t matter which of Kritika: Chaos Unleashed’s colourful fighters you choose to play as. Whether you’re an angry armoured warrior of powerful she-vixen, this action RPG’s fluid, fast-paced combat is accessible from the word go

This is largely thanks to virtual-stick and button controls that quickly become second nature. Despite only having limited offensive options when you begin, you’ll soon find yourself chaining together 200-hit combos while you pirouette through the game’s varied environments.

Leveling-up your fighter gives you access to extra abilities that can be mapped to onscreen buttons, putting 400-hit combos within your reach. Holding down the attack button chains standard blows together, leaving you to decide which targets to attack and when to unleash abilities to best effect.

Once a level is complete you can re-enter it to grind XP in Auto Mode, during which your character automatically attacks everything. Its an interesting way to grind, and the AI still needs help on higher difficulties, but does mean you’re lazily chasing combos while knowing there is little skill behind them.

The challenge peaks at the end of a zone when you meet the boss. These hulking brutes destroy you if you are not paying attention, with a single blow able to knock off half your health. Here, knowing when to hold position and when to move is key, but with no dodge function this is a less exciting dynamic than the combo-c…
