Clash for Dawn players have amassed 800 years of game time since launch

Clash for Dawn launched just over three months ago, and has since reached a massive 1.5 million downloads across the iOS and Android mobile platforms. To give you some perspective, that’s 520 new players every hour.

All the more impressive is how much time they’ve ploughed into the game collectively – 800 years in fact. Yes, that’s exactly how much gameplay time has been recorded from all players since launch.

What have they done? Well, they’ve hired 21 million mercenaries, completed 144 million quests, and enhanced 45 million weapons for a start.

Then there’s the absolute mountain of gold that’s been looted – 4.5 trillion gold coins to be exact – as well as 22 million players killed in PvP, 1.8 million team dungeons completed, and 745,000 bosses demolished.

Clash for Dawn has been well and truly played.

If you haven’t played it yet, it’s an action RPG reminiscent of Diablo in which you play as a Warrior, Archer, Mage, or Priest and defeat thousands upon thousands of demonic foes.

Defeat enough and you’ll level up – this lets you increase your stats, unlock new skills, and equip totally new gear. And you’ll need to do all of that if you want to take on the epic dungeons, where a gigantic boss lurks at the end.

A Game of Dice tournament might happen if more players get involved [Sponsored]

Game of Dice is a different kind of board game that blends traditional board games like Monopoly with trading card games on iOS and Android right now.

You have to work your way around a multi-tiled board by rolling dice, then take all properties you land on. Each time you perform a lap on the board, your real estate increases in value.

And that’s good, because the aim of the game is to become the richest player and bankrupt your opponents.

The trading card component comes in the form of 65 different skill cards, which each have unique abilities to help you gain the upper hand during a match.

We spoke to Seonghyeon Han, Project Director at JoyCity, to learn more about Game of Dice, and particularly which territory it’s performing best in, recommended strategies to help you succeed, and whether or not a real life tournament could happen in the future.

Is Game of Dice performing noticeably better in any particular territory?

“Currently, more Eastern players are enjoying Game of Dice, but players from the Western countries are also starting to take to it – especially from the United States.

We’re preparing various updates to satisfy the Western market, so stay tuned!”

Outcast Odyssey is a deep and fun card battler that launched back in October on iOS and Android.

There are more than 300 cards to collect over the course of the game, all of which can be evolved and fused to increase their power. Figuring out the best combination of these cards is key to building a strong deck.

You’ll need to master a collection of special abilities if the ultimate deck is what you’re looking for. These help you out in a bind, and can be combined for greater effect.

Once you’re satisfied with your deck, you can test it out in PvP against enemy players. This is located in the arena, where you can also join a guild and make new friends to play with.

There’s also a lengthy single player campaign, with a whopping 40 islands to battle your way across. Each of these contains hidden treasure and unique enemies.

If you’re into dungeon crawlers, you’ll be excited to learn that Outcast Odyssey contains elements of those. There’s a challenging dungeon on every island which nets you plenty of rewards if you can beat the boss at the end.

You can earn even more rewards by completing achievements. These are spread throughout every aspect of the game and you’ll earn some cool badges for completing them.
